Dr. Richard Harvey
“In a volume written in 1936 entitled The History of Jewish Christianity (1936), Hugh Schonfield called Joseph Rabinowitz (1837-1899) “the Herzl of Jewish Christianity.” Rabinowitz was the first Jew since the early centuries of the common era to call for the establishment of distinct communities of Jewish disciples of Jesus – communities which would circumcise their sons, and honor the Sabbath and the Jewish holidays. His views gained worldwide attention, and launched a debate which has continued to this day.
“In this webinar Richard Harvey, a leading Messianic Jewish historian and theologian, will speak about Rabinowitz and his significance for us as 21st century Jewish disciples of Yeshua. Amanda Achtman, a Jewish Catholic Canadian, will also share her own journey of faith.”
