A Zoom Hebrew Catholic Course in the Catholic Faith
We frequently get questions from non-Catholics who are inquiring about the Catholic faith and also from Catholics who want to better understand our Faith.
To provide a resource for inquirers, Dr. Larry Feingold will begin a Zoom Hebrew Catholic course of instruction into the Catholic faith, beginning in July, 2023.
If the inquirer is enrolled in a parish RCIA course, then Dr. Feingold’s course will be supplemental, enabling the participant to ask additional questions.
If an inquirer is not enrolled in a parish RCIA course of instruction, this could be used as an RCIA course with the consent of the pastor of the parish in which the inquirer will be received into the Church. In this case, the inquirer should consult with the pastor as soon as possible to ensure all parish requirements are met.
The course will be based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church (and the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church).
Dr. Feingold is a Professor of Theology at the Kenrick-Glennon Seminary here in Saint Louis, Missouri. He is also Director of Theology for the Association of Hebrew Catholics.
The classes will be given weekly on Sundays, from 3:30 to 4:45 Central Standard Time. (There will be no class on Sept 17.) There are no requirements and no fees to take the course. However, your free-will offerings will be very much appreciated.
To attend the live Zoom classes, you must first register. Following registration, you will receive an email with the link to join the classes. Please save the link as you can use it for all subsequent classes.
These classes will also be recorded. A link for each class recording will be available on the AHC website, under the “Studies” menu item, about a week following the class.
An outline of the course sessions will soon be available.
