AHC-Site-Phase-OneAHC Web Site Renovation, Phase One is complete!

Shlom haMashiach! (Peace of the Messiah!)

There were many reasons to renovate our web site, the most important being to further advance the mission of the AHC by opening our web site up to all Catholics, especially to those who collaborate with us and to others who support us through their prayers. It is our hope that our new web site will foster the development of a virtual community, that is, an international online community that will work as part of the new evangelization, to preserve the identity and heritage of Jews within the Church, helping them to serve the Lord, His Church, and all peoples, within the mystery of their irrevocable calling (cf. Rom. 11: 28-29).

In this Phase 1, which became active on 5 Aug. 2013, we sought to make some key features of our old web site and web store available. These key features include the online recordings of our eleven lecture series given by Dr. Lawrence Feingold. Many of these lectures are being used for personal and group studies, and for the classroom as well. These lectures are also available as prerecorded mp3 discs in our web store.

The meditations for the annual AHC Novena (Aug. 1–Aug. 9) to St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein) are also available.  Additionally, there are many other articles now available online. However, there is still work to do to finish bringing our new web site and store up to the same level of content as our old website. When this new web site and store includes everything that we had before, that will conclude Phase 2.

At the same time, we will be working (1) to establish the ability for each havurah to have its own place within our international online community, and (2) to enable various authors to have a place where they may write and interact with online visitors. When the ability to provide a place for our havurot and authors is realized, that will conclude Phase 3.

Finally, we look forward to migrating our discussion group, currently an email group on Yahoo, to our own site. That will enable our collaborators, supporters, havurot members, and authors to freely enter into discussion without the threat of advertising and other inappropriate messages. When this capability is achieved, that will conclude Phase 4.

At this time, we ask you, our visitor, for a couple of things: (1) to pray for us and for the mission of the AHC, and (2) to contact us with any observations, corrections, and suggestions you might have concerning our web site and how it operates. If you come across articles that still need to be formatted, let us know. For any thoughts regarding the web site, please reference the page  or copy the url in your message. That will make it easier for us to address your concerns.

Thank you for your attention and I wish you every blessing
In the hearts of Yeshua, Miriam, and St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross,

David Moss, President
